New Orleans research trip for Timothy Ashby’s forthcoming thriller, Desperate Valour.

Timothy Ashby recently visited New Orleans, Lousiana, USA, to research his forthcoming historical thriller, Desperate Valour. Set during the Anglo-American War of 1812, the novel´s plot centres on events leading to the Battle of New Orleans on 9 January 1815, which was one of the British Army´s most catastrophic defeats, costing the lives of three British generals and over 1,000 soldiers.
